Stick to the FTSP plan

Jan. 10 FTSP Review Board met. Developer Dave Eadie from Rutter Development attended, as did some press. General feeling was for retaining as many Oak Trees as possible, that's why people moved to the canyons. As one left the meeting, the Oaks seemed to be happy that the canyon people are rallying in their defense. As one said, "...if we had not fought for and passed the FTSP, Live Oak would be a 4 lane hiway just like Santa Margarita parkway..."

 At the FTSP Review Board

Discussion was held about cutting down this "killer oak" which "bedevils" the school grounds. Could it be that the school district wants to kill this 400 year old Oak? The Board asked for alternative plans from the district, and asked residents to participate in developing ideas on how to save it.
